R453A (RS-44B) is an HFC blended retrofit refrigerant designed to replace R-22 in AC & refrigeration applications to -20 F. No oil change required, compatible with MO, AB and PE lubricants. Similar flow rate and cooling capacity of R-22, and similar discharge and suction pressures to those of R-22. Non-flammable, and non-toxic with Zero ODP and the lowest GWP of the R-22 refrigerant retrofit refrigerants (1664 TAR).
