Definition: Under general supervision, the warehouse supervisor supports and assists the Warehouse Manager in the accomplishment of daily tasks, training and special projects. Handles the assigned direct duties of the section / department on a daily basis. Interacts with all members of the warehouse team. Minimum Qualifications, Training and Experience: Two years experience in related warehouse work with at least one year of supervisory experience. Must be 18 years of age to operate powered lift equipment. Excellent communication skills. Able to interact effectively at all levels. Must posess leadership qualitites. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Above average oral and written communications skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities. Understanding of the greater mission of the warehouse, customer service and the interaction between departments. Ability to begin work at the start of the designated shift and work extended hours. Must understand inventory management principles and standard practices. Must have intermediate computer skills and a strong desire to learn. R.E.
