Safety Manager
Full Time Position

The full time Safety Manager reports to and works closely with the Director of Safety at our corporate headquarters. Position responsible for all administrative functions associated with FMCSA and OSHA record keeping & compliance; accident investigation; develop/prepare and conduct internal training programs and working with employees at all levels to promote a safe workplace.
        
Ideal candidate possesses 2 to 5 yrs. progressive experience handling administrative functions and training relating to compliance with FMCSA & OSHA regulations in a warehousing and transportation environment. Uses an analytical/comprehensive approach to problem solving; maintains accurate and up to date records; able to meet deadlines; pleasant and effective verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills; keen attention to detail; good working knowledge of Excel and other data base programs. Some travel required.
